So you are thinking about opening your new business here at The Shops On West Ridge. Great. Now here are some of the most asked questions we get from folks just like you.
“How much is rent?”
Rents range from $27-$75 per week depending on the size of the space and where it is located in the building.
“Do I have to sign a contract?”
Yes. There is a 90 day minimum commitment.
“Do I have to work any days?”
Yes. You have to work 2 days a month for each space that you rent. But working is fun here at The Shops On West Ridge!
“What Legal/Government issues do I need to address?”
The only permit you must have before you open here at The Shops on West Ridge is a New York Sales Tax Certificate. That takes about 3 weeks and is believe it or not, still FREE!
“What can I sell?”
We are looking for good quality shopkeepers who are selling better quality products. You cannot sell firearms, anything pornographic, or any used clothing.
“Do you charge a commission on what I sell”
“How fast can I move in?”
Once you have your NYS Sales Tax Number. And go through orientation.
“How do I get more information?”
