Dickens Christmas Festival This year come celebrate the 18th annual Dickens Christmas Festival at the The Shops On West Ridge.The Dickens Christmas Festival is the highlight of the calendar year here at The Shops. This year the festival kicks off on Saturday November 5. Our opening weekend will feature all the great fun that makes the festival a Rochester tradition for many families. Live choral groups singing traditional carols, The Olde London Town Street complete with Scrooge and Marley’s office and of course all your favorite Christmas Carol characters. Tiny Tim, The Ghosts of past, present, and future, Father Christmas, and of course Scrooge himself.
The festival is all indoors and there is no charge to attend. If you’ve never shopped the co-op during the holiday time, you’re missing out on a real holiday treat. All the staff is dressed in turn of the century attire and the entire TheShops is decorated with greens, lights and color. There is no place that is more fun to shop during the Christmas season than The Shops.
If you, like many, become frustrated when trying to find something unique for that special someone on your giving list, The Shops is your solution. The Shops has over 100,000 unique items and don’t let our name fool you. Especially during Christmas time, The Shops has so much more than crafts and antiques.
